All set for 2022. Existing members please continue to use the wottsapp to let others know if you are attending the field, you are reminded there is no flying on your own.
We are all set for the fast approaching season. This is the year the BMFA celebrate 100 years.
Anyone that wishes to join us is welcome, we fly on a Saturday and Wednesday mornings from 10am. Wether dependent, if you are wanting to learn to fly or just have a go please come down the field and see us, we have fully qualified instructors that are willing to take you up with a club plane that the instructor will be in control of on dule controls.
We are a fun and friendly club and welcome new members that would like to learn to fly model aeroplanes or are already experienced in the hobby.
We have been established for more than 40 years, flying at our site at Nottingham Racecourse near the village of Colwick on the outskirts and to the east of the City of Nottingham.
We are a BMFA affiliated club, flying model aircraft in accordance with their rules and regulations, and covered by their insurance policy. We are mainly a fixed wing club but some members do fly helicopters and multi rotor aircraft. Please note though that we currently only have the facilities to teach new members to fly fixed wing.
Every year we hold a number of events
We have fun fly days and fly-in days when we welcome anyone with an BMFA ‘A’ certificate or above to come and fly with us.
