Anyone wanting to learn to fly with us or join our club please feel free to come down to the field. we normally fly Wednesday and Saturday mornings weather permitting.

We have a selected number of pilots ready and willing to help you out whether it be your first flight or advanced aerobatics tuition is free. We have a trainer plane that belongs to the club for people who want to come and have a go before spending any money on planes or radio.

We teach to the BMFA guidelines and achievement scheme and standards. pilots are not able to fly solo at the club innless they have been assessed by a member of the committee and can preform a flight to prove they are in full control of the plane and preform the flight in a safe manner observing safety procedures and rules.

When the club committee feels your able to preform the full criteria to be assessed by the bmfa we will contact a delegated assessor to attend the field and you will be taken for the “A” certificate once you have this you can then go on to fly solo at other clubs and events. please note that any event where there is public you will need a “B” certificate to fly.
